The classic Russian onion dome...


View looking more or less to the west of The Cathedral of the Blood in Ekaterinburg. The statue of the Imperial Family descending the stairs is not shown in this image by virtue of the fact that it is on the west side of the property facing Iset Pond. The letter "P" indicates, approximately, where the Popov house once stood. Looks to me like the domes are covered with gold leaf. The image below that of the cathedral reads: "House of Ipatiev" and is written in the Russian cryllic language.
